"Fifty Shades Freed" by E.L. James

"Fifty Shades Freed" by E.L. James

In this final book of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy, a lot of questions are answered. For those readers wondering exactly what happened in Christian Grey’s past, “Fifty Shades Freed” gives you the insight you were looking for. Also, for everyone wondering what is going to come of Anastasia Steele and Christian, read this book by E.L. James to find out.

NOTE: SLIGHT SPOILER ALERT IF PREVIOUS BOOKS OF THE TRILOGY WERE NOT READ!

A lot has happened in the first two books of this trilogy. Christian wanted Ana to be his submissive and Ana wanted more. Then, they both realized they couldn’t live without one another and decided to meet halfway. Christian decided he would rather give Ana the hearts and flowers relationship she wanted than be without her. Ana realized that she loves Christian regardless of his excessive baggage and wants him however she can have him. Her inner goddess also secretly likes the “kinky fuckery,” but Ana just doesn’t like Christian wanting to hurt her. In this third installment of the trilogy, Ana and Christian take the next step in their relationship - marriage. They decide to change their wedding vows slightly because Ana doesn’t want to ‘promise to obey’ Christian. Although Christian’s family wanted him protected by a pre-nup, he wouldn’t hear of it. He figured that if Ana left him, then she could take all his money anyway if it made her happy. After their beautiful wedding, the happy couple goes on their honeymoon to several different places in Europe. Ana and Christian have a wonderful time together and speak of their future and what their time together may bring. Ana dreams of having children with Christian later in their marriage, visualizing a young copper-haired boy running around in the meadow of their new home. They are beyond happy in their own bubble of a world, and do not want to go back to reality. Unfortunately, reality calls to them sooner than expected. There is still trouble lurking in the shadows, wanting to hurt them. After the sabotage of Christian’s helicopter, Charlie Tango, security has tightened immensely. Somehow, trouble still manages to slip by and keep Ana and Christian on their toes. Who would want to hurt them so bad? What else does this person(s) have planned? Is it somebody that Ana and Christian know? Will Ana even have the chance of her dreams becoming a reality? Find out in “Fifty Shades Freed” by E.L. James.

I rate E.L. James’ book 4 out of 5 stars. I would definitely recommend this read to somebody who is interested in Adult Romance/Erotica. I have to say that this book has less sex scenes than the first two, but it definitely has its moments! This third book is more about the growth of Ana and Christian’s relationship and where the future will take them. It also answers a lot of questions that readers may have had from the first two books. I really enjoy that I was able to get a glimpse into Christian’s past to better understand him. I liked this book a lot and would love to read more like it someday. It has been said that James is planning to write a book(s) from Christian Grey’s perspective. I would personally love to read that because there is just so much to learn about him. Again, I like this 4 star book and I would recommend this intoxicating, revealing, and fun read "Fifty Shades Freed” by E.L. James.
