Synopsis:

Everyone has a past…good or bad, they are always there. They lurk and linger in the shadows, sometimes reappearing at the most inconvenient times.

Gabby and Bradley thought that their pasts would remain dormant, that happiness was theirs for the taking. Still the strongest of relationships can be rocked by the ugliness from a previous life, even if it seems to be a world away. The fact remains an ugly past is never distant. It taints everything it touches, drives permanent rifts between loved ones, and sometimes can ruin everything. Gabby and Bradley must find the only way to battle the past. Forgiveness becomes a light through the darkness, a guide for the lost, and hope for the hopeless. With forgiveness comes bright, new beginnings

My Review:

“Forgiven (This, Book 3)” by J.B. McGee
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I read this entire series this past week. I started with book one of the “This” trilogy, “Broken” and moved right into book 2 (“Mending”), 2.5 (“Conspiring”), and now 3 (“Forgiven”).  It’s amazing how much this author has grown with her talent from her debut novel! I love being able to actually experience something so wonderful. J.B. McGee is great.

I’ve gotten to know Gabby and Bradley pretty well. They have both grown throughout each book, even though they definitely still have their issues. I mean, of course they do right?! Although this trilogy has more of a light and happy storyline, it definitely has its good share of angst.

I would recommend “Forgiven” as well as the other novels and novellas from the “This” trilogy to readers who enjoy Contemporary Romance. The characters of this story are college-aged, and although most of the intimate scenes are not overly detailed and explicit...there are many of them throughout the books.

I loved the chemistry between Gabby and Bradley. They had such sexual tension between them and great emotional and physical attraction to each other. It was obvious they cared a lot for each other and I enjoyed watching them fall in love. I got so involved in their relationship that when something went wrong, I felt it. I was routing for their love since book one. I want them to have their happily ever after. They deserve it.

So if you’re looking for a New Adult trilogy to read, give the “This” trilogy a shot. Add it to your to be read list, or go out and buy the whole trilogy. Enjoy!
