5 STAR Review:

“If Forever Comes” by A.L. Jackson

A.L. Jackson is a magnificent storyteller! She absolutely knows what a readers wants and she goes above and beyond to give it to us. I love how much her books can make me feel. The words that she writes on each page have meaning and captivate you. From the first line of “If Forever Comes” to the very last line, I was hooked. I didn’t want to stop reading and hated when I had to. I love books that pull me in so much I just want to devour them in one sitting, but at the same time I don’t ever want them to end.

“If Forever Comes” filled me with happiness and broke my heart. My emotions were all over the place in the best way possible. It’s exactly what I love to feel when reading a book. It’s when I know a book is just that good. A.L. Jackson creates characters that are so real, that you just may forget that they’re fictional. It’s almost as if you are living their life with them, instead of just reading it. Does that make sense? No? Well, read A.L. Jackson’s books and you will understand. All her books are great.

I would definitely recommend “If Forever Comes” - the second book in the “Take This Regret” series. I loved everything about this story and definitely plan on reading more books from A.L. Jackson, as long as she continues writing them!

RECOMMENDED!

*Interview*
with A.L. Jackson

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to answer some interview questions for Brianna Lee Book Reviews! I know my blog followers and I appreciate this very much! Enjoy!

Thank you for having me on Brianna!!

  • What is your favorite rainy-day movie?

Pretty in Pink.

  • Who is your favorite literary character of all time?

All right, I’m coming clean: I’m a Twilight fan. Yep. Give me Edward Cullen any day. Even after all these years, I still haven’t found anyone to replace him. Hmm…there is some amazing stuff coming out, though. Ask me again next year, I might give you a different answer ;)

  • What are three books you would bring with you on a deserted island?

The Bible, a survival guide, and Gone with the Wind.

  • How has your writing career changed in the last year?

So many wonderful things happened in 2013, and I’ve been blessed enough to start writing full-time. I’ll also be publishing with one of the large publishers in the coming year, so that will be a whole new experience for me. I’m excited by all of it!

  • What are you writing plans for next year?

In 2014, I’ll be working on the second and third installments of The Closer To You Series, Come To Me Softly and the third book, which hasn’t been named as of yet.

  • Which of your characters would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with?

Oh, hands down, Jared Holt. You’ll get to meet him in Come To Me Quietly.

  • If someone gave you a free plane ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Greece. That’s my dream vacation. Both the beach and history. I don’t think it could get better than that.

  • Where do you find inspiration for your characters?

Ahh I always get asked this, but my characters always just show up in my head and announce themselves! Now I’m sure there are things that have made impressions on me that get my brain working, but I’ve never really thought out a character all that much.

  • Do you believe with the adage, 'write what you know'?

I agree with it only to some extent. It’s great to have experiences or understand certain things first hand, but that puts limitations on our imaginations and our fantasies. I say as writers, let’s use them!

  • What book are you reading right now (or the last one you read)? How/why did you choose it?

I’m currently reading Real by Katy Evans!! I’ve heard so many amazing things about it, and man, were they right! Absolutely loving it!

Thanks again AL Jackson! I'm a big fan of your books and can't wait to see what else you have in store for us readers in the years to come! xx

Author Bio:

A.L. Jackson is the New York Times bestselling author of Take This Regret and Lost to You, as well as other contemporary romance titles, including Pulled and When We Collide.

She first found a love for writing during her days as a young mother and college student.  She filled the journals she carried with short stories and poems used as an emotional outlet for the difficulties and joys she found in day-to-day life.

Years later, she shared a short story she’d been working on with her two closest friends and, with their encouragement, this story became her first full length novel. A.L. now spends her days writing in Southern Arizona where she lives with her husband and three children. Her favorite pastime is spending time with the ones she loves.
